Greetings Boosters,

I hope everyone is ready for a great weekend of hockey!  I know I am looking forward to it.

 Last weekends wins were well deserved for the boys.  They worked hard and it paid off!!!!!!!!  It was great to be in the corner of the rink when the guys came out to see everyone after the game.  Fans actually applauded when they came up.  The guys were all smiles.  I was so happy for those kids words cannot express. 

We have several new members this week.  I hope that we get to meet you in the near future if we haven’t already.  Please be sure to stop by the BC table if you are at a game.  We all meet before the game, during intermissions, and after the game to talk, and hang out.  It is so much fun to get to know everyone.  If you are going to be in town and want to get together before the game to eat someplace let me know by e-mail at least a day in advance and we can usually set something up.

If you attend games we can use your help at the table with sales.  I can assure you it is easy and fun!  We always have someone new work with an experienced person so you don’t feel uneasy.  It is a great way to meet parents of players and Tornado fans.  The table is open before the game and during intermission.  Some people (if they want) stay open the whole game, it is up to you.   

The new horns are in and seem to be selling well.  They are easier to blow, almost as loud, easier to carry, and easier to store.

I have a few copies of the calendar.  They only have 22 players in them.  I printed a minimum amount and can print more if we need too. 

We also have a few autographed lunch totes!  We had the guys autograph them at the Holiday Party.  The cost for them is $10.00

I hope to start the “Spotlight” on the players in the near future.  All of the players did not come and pick their interview questions and talk with me at the party so I still need to talk with many of them.  I think we can get started with them though.  I need to coordinate with our web editor David Dunlap to see when we can do them.

David does an incredible job with our web page day after day to keep everyone posted on what is going on.  I hope that you have all had a chance to see it and check it often.   For those of you out of town we know that it is the best way for you to get info.  If there is ever anything that you would like to see contact David or myself and we will see if it is something we can do.   I know that one area we would like to see more participation from all of you is with questions for the coaches.
