There is a lot to learn about Tornado forward, Ben Miller. Miller did not expect to perform as well individually as he did at the NAHL Showcase last week and attributes his success to going out on the ice and playing for fun and just seeing where the game took him. "It feels good not to be under such a large shadow of expectation. This year we are playing for ourselves and for our teammates. We beat ourselves at times in Blaine, but we turned it around and that will carry through the rest of the season." Miller has high hopes for the Tornado this year. "We have good chemistry. Julian (Mikola), Sean (Roadhouse) and I can sense each other on the ice. We gel as a line and that has helped us put the puck in the net." Always humble, when asked about being the points leader for the Tornado, Miller replied, "I'm not 'that guy'. I just go out there and try my best." A leader on and off the ice, Miller will be a joy to watch this season. Looking forward to Friday, Miller said, "I am really excited to get the season started at home. I am ready to give the fans a great show!"
